Yoander García Ventura.
More than 23 years in the craft. Four countries. One single obsession.
Yoander García Ventura was born in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, in 1984. He entered the beauty craft at age 18 and never left it: more than 23 years working as a barber and stylist, today from Houston, Texas.
The barber in the family was his grandfather — his idol and his model of a man devoted to his people. Yoander chose to honor that legacy through a deliberate embrace of the craft, not through family inertia.
Specialized in color work and unisex styling, in Cuba he ran his own salons and worked as a stylist for television programs, attending to singers, hosts and actors.
His career took him through Cuba, Uruguay and Panama before arriving in the United States in 2022. In Uruguay he served as an official educator for New Color, distributor of Salerm Cosmetics, delivering masterclasses at co-branded events with international brands. That journey across four countries gave him an uncommon perspective: how the craft works in different markets, and where the technological needs are that no platform has solved.
That observation became Vehyly: build the tool the craft never had, from inside the trade.
"Vehyly exists for the professionals the industry never served. That's the north. Everything else is execution."
